The WORKCARE Services portfolio spans the Workplace Injury Prevention and Management Services. Our business commenced by offering specialist medical services to individual and group athletes at sporting arenas and events. With the use of our Emergency Medical Response Unit, which consisted of one (1) Medical Centre, a Doctor, Ambulance, two (2) medics and a handful of resources at the time, our services catered for large sporting events e.g. Sydney Marathons, Triathlons and related sporting events. Initially, our business began on the basis of what we believed our market ‘wanted’, a good idea so to speak and like most entrepreneurs, our endeavours were part ‘want’ and part ‘need’.

The infrequency of these sporting events saw our business plan and strategies limited to their full potential. Growth in our business or chosen industry was directly related to seasonal events and sporting activities. Therefore, we began to realise that our business would eventually suffer due to these circumstances.
